Skill Development

The project envisages import of sophisticated and highly automated, high-capacity machinery from Europe. The operation of this machinery requires a high degree of skill to be imparted to  prospective operators by adequate training under the expert guidance of suppliers of the  machinery. Further the operation of the process plant also requires considerable number of highly skilled operators. This is proposed to be achieved by :

  1. Establishing State of  the Art training facilities at the vicinity of the process plants. Experts will be drawn from the machinery suppliers and industry experts.
  2.  Appointing local technical graduates who will be trained in the above facilities.
  3. This training will be a regular, ongoing exercise considering attrition and other contingencies, so that operations do not suffer due to lack of trained operators.
